As Mechanical & Electrical Engineers we have for a few months been involved with a new heating installation at Finham Park School in Coventry. It’s been a successful installation and like any project that takes place over a few months we’ve built up a really good working relationship with both the staff and management team. Hearing that the school’s annual awards event was fast approaching we were pleased to become one of the main sponsors of the event with two of our senior management team Mick Packwood (site manager at the school), and Nick Goodwin who heads up our business development team attending the evening.
It was a great event and it became clear that the children had worked really hard to achieve some staggering results.
During the evening Mick, Nick and the other guests enjoyed a splendid buffet and entertainment put on by the children which included Hallelujah performed by Zak Serroukh (oboe) and Amrit Bhabra (Piano), “Cavatine” a Trombone Solo performed by Will Levermore, “One moment in time” a vocal solo performance by Jade Barradell.
Afterwards the children enjoyed their annual school disco whilst the “older” people (Nick & Mick) slipped off home to finish off their evening in somewhat quieter surroundings. A great night was had by all.
