New Housing Development in Birmingham
Cameron Butcher Group Ltd is pleased to have been appointed to build a three storey, three-bedroom house in the heart of the West Midlands.
With the quality of finish a high priority, the house will be targeted at the mid-price range, with both the internal and external finishes complimenting the design.
The ground floor consists of Lounge, WC, Cloakroom, Utility and Open Plan Kitchen Diner which with Lantern light to the ceiling and full-width sliding doors to the rear, will be flooded with natural light and have a real sense of extending that most important of family spaces into the garden.
The second floor is where you will find the large master bedroom which includes a well-appointed en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. With the second bedroom sharing the family bathroom, it leaves ample space for the dressing room area.
With the third bedroom positioned in the fully insulated loft space of the second floor, the geometry creates the nooks and crannies that give any well-proportioned loft room its character. With storage to the landing, there will be no end of cupboard space available to what is traditionally the smaller room in any household.
With the plot bookended on either side by existing properties, the design team at Ritchie and Ritchie Architects have been inventive in maximising the available footprint, and the future owners of the house can be 100% confident that every ounce of space has been planned to perfection.
On the other hand, for us as the building contractors, the space available for us to work in is quite limited, and for storage of materials negligible. Meticulous planning will be critical to the success of the project.
With storage space at a premium, it was decided early in the planning stage that deliveries would be co-ordinated on an “as required” basis. Working in conjunction with our suppliers and procurement department, we have created a program of works which incorporates the delivery of materials based on the available storage space on site along with the daily requirements determined by the program.
